One of the most beloved slow movements in the symphonic repertoire has been magnificently arranged for brass band by legendary composer Peter Myers. This spectacular arrangement calls for a passionate, dynamic-filled performance and includes solos for soprano cornet, solo cornet, solo horn and trombone. As a test piece it will make demands on the whole band while retaining musical integrity. The "andante" is the perfect centerpiece of any massed bands concert.
