Legend has it the maestro Scarlatti's pet cat had a habit of running across the piano keys and in particular six specific notes. Bear in mind this was at least 200 years before the tone row was exploited by the Schoenberg school. Scarlatti, took this six note row and developed a playful fugue, which Myers has prepared for String Trio. he also dedicated the work to the "Cat-Gut Trio" of Los Angeles. The download edition contains parts only. The score, parts and covers can be mailed.
