"Amazing Grace Anthem": An expansively Scottish symphonic setting of the internationally loved 19th. century American melody, with words by the English poet John Newton, which was to become the most famous of all folk hymns. Iain Sutherland has arranged it for pipe band and full symphony orchestra, with hints of the heroic Hebridean song "Kishmul's Galley".
Maestro Sutherland has created a stirring version of this internationally beloved ballad. The inclusion of traditionally dressed pipers makes for a sublime, majestic conclusion to a pops concert.
